# Kimi Code

The You.com plugin for [Kimi Code](https://www.kimi.com/code/docs/en/kimi-code-cli/customization/plugins.html), Moonshot AI's coding agent, installs four skills and the You.com MCP servers from the [agent-skills repo](https://github.com/youdotcom-oss/agent-skills). The MCP servers give Kimi tools such as `you-search`, `you-contents`, `you-research`, and `you-finance`. The skills tell it when to use each one and how to cite what it finds.

## Install the Plugin

## Install From GitHub

Inside a Kimi Code session:

Kimi Code installs the latest release. Run `/reload` or `/new` to load it, since the current session doesn't pick up plugin changes.

## Sign In

The `you`, `you-research`, and `you-finance` servers sign in with your You.com account over OAuth. Run `/mcp-config login <server-name>`, such as `/mcp-config login you`, to authorize in the browser. `/mcp` shows each server's connection status.

## Troubleshooting

#### Plugin changes don't show up

Kimi Code applies plugin installs and changes after `/reload` or in a new session started with `/new`.

#### A server needs authorization

Run `/mcp-config login <server-name>` and finish the sign-in in the browser.

#### Check the plugin's status

Run `/plugins info you` to see the plugin's details and any manifest diagnostics.
